ABOUT

I am a tinkerer with a deep appreciation for automation and a love for the design processes that go into the creation of mechanical engineering marvels: i.e., I love napkin drawings, CAD models, and 3D printed plastic prototypes; I love blocky, rough constructions built to be broken during testing; and like anyone else, I love the endorphin rush when seeing the sheen and polish of a final product.

I am adept at SolidWorks, AutoCAD, & Fusion 360:

  • SolidWorks: I've created  assemblies containing several hundred parts, utilized the sheet metal features, run CFD analyses, FEA, motion studies/renderings, etc. This program has quite steadily held first place on my list of CAD tools since I first began using it in '12/'13 during university. It has versatility. It has power. Its UI is beautifully intuitive.

  • AutoCAD: I've had the opportunity to master this drafting tool to the point of incredible impact - a 40% reduction in time spent on drafting. My supervisors entrusted me with the task of streamlining their 10-years-old drafting procedure. I then delved into the world of coding & programming through AutoLISP, which equipped me with the tools to automate any repetitive task in AutoCAD.

  • Fusion 360: I've used Fusion 360 for sheet metal, photo-realistic rendering, and as another design tool for personal 3D printing projects.
